FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS

We rent our banquet rooms by food and beverage minimums. Please call us directly at 206-270-8815 to inquire about each private banquet rooms food and beverage minimum for a specific date and time.

SERVICE CHARGE

All food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% service charge and applicable Washington state sales tax.

ROOM RESERVATION / CANCELLATION

Your reservation for a private banquet room can be confirmed once your non-refundable deposit has been received. This is a deposit only and will be deducted from your bill at the conclusion of your function. See your contract for exact details about your specific cancellation fee.

MENU SELECTION

To ensure the success of your function, all menu selections must be finalized two weeks in advance. McCormick & Schmick's is committed to serving the freshest seafood available. Due to Mother Nature, the need to substitute with a premium frozen product may be necessary, but done only with your knowledge and approval.

GUEST COUNT

A guaranteed guest count must be received by 12:00pm (noon) three business days prior to your function. Once received, this number will be final and will not be subject to reduction. You will be billed for your actual attendance or guaranteed guest count, which ever is greater. In the event that the guarantee is not received, final billing will be based on the initial estimate or the actual number of guests, whichever is greater.

During the month of December or with Weddings, all guest guarantees must be determined by 12:00pm (noon) five business days prior to the function.

EXTRA FOOD & BUFFET TIMES

Due to Health Code restrictions buffet items that are temperature sensitive may only stay out for a maximum of two (2) hours. For the health and safety of our guests, temperature-sensitive foods must remain with the caterer at the end of your event for proper disposal and any leftovers will not be packaged to be taken off property.

BILLING

All balances are due at the conclusion of your function except for social events, or if you have been pre-approved for direct bill (See your contract for exact details). We accept all major credit cards and business checks.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE POLICY

Wine, beer, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages must be purchased through McCormick & Schmick's Harborside. Beverages can only be dispensed by our staff to those guests with proper identifications. We do not offer a corkage fee price.

WA STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT CONSUMER ADVISORY

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may pose a health risk. Raw or undercooked foods are noted by a * throughout the menu.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS AND COSTS

  • Please call us directly at 206-270-8815 to inquire about each private banquet rooms food and beverage minimum for a specific date and time.
  • Daytime events are defined as concluding by 5:00PM
  • The food and beverage minimum requirements are based on a 4 hour room usage time period. Additional time based on availability will be subject to a $100.00 charge per hour after the 4 hour designated time.
  • Mid-afternoon functions will be subject to both daytime and evening minimum food and beverage requirements.
  • Prices, menus service charge and tax are subject to change without notice.
  • McCormick & Schmick's Harborside does not offer a wine corkage fee program. All food and beverage must be purchased through the Harborside.

LINEN

White linen and napkins are provided for your event. If another colored linen or napkin is requested from our Linen Company the following prices apply:

Napkins $.25 napkin

DANCE FLOOR

If a dance floor is requested, McCormick & Schmick's can rent you a dance floor.
$290.00 - $425.00 depending on size

CARVING ATTENDANT FEE

Should you request a Chef to carve an item on your buffet there will be a $75.00 Chef Carving Fee that will apply

BARTENDER FEE

The Bartender Fee of $75.00 will be waived if $450.00 is spent in bar revenue.

CAKE CUTTING FEE

McCormick & Schmick's will provide a decorated table, cake knife, plates, silver and linen for your cake. We charge $2.00 per person to cut and serve the cake to your guests.

Entrée Choice

Guidelines for Plated Meals :

 
If you would like to offer your guests their choice of entree, we can do so based on the following guidelines:

  1. The guaranteed number of specific entrees is required at least three business days in advance.
  2. Entrees are served with freshly brewed coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, freshly baked roll, the same starter and dessert (which you pre-select) as well as Chef's accompaniments.
  3. For dinner, a maximum of three entree choices (including a vegetarian entrée) is acceptable with the exception of combination dinner entrees. Vegetarian or other dietary restrictions need to be handled in advance.
  4. Please provide an easy means of identifying each guest's entree selection at the table to assist with service. An entrée indicator card that can be placed above the place setting is the most effective. Per your request, M&S Harborside can create entrée indicator cards at $2.00 per card.
  5. In the event that a guest changes his /her mind or cannot recall their entree selection, we will enlist your involvement to determine the entree selections. We suggest that you have a master list with you on premise.
  6. Entrees will be priced individually. If a guest changes his/her mind, you will be charged for the entree which has been pre-ordered as well as the entree that is served.
  7. Please allow additional time in the itinerary for this service.
